"Browning High" Class of 1954 welcomes you to the "Enchantment Under the Lagoon" Prom!

Don't be a square - Join us for our 3rd Gillfest to celebrate our favorite Creature, this time with a 50's prom twist!Cruise on down to the Whitney Labs in St. Augustine in your best 50's attire this July! Twirl the night away to fab live music, grab a dance with our very own Gillman, take part in shenanigans like The Monsters Dating Game and the Newlywed Game, snap pics at our photo ops, and maybe even get crowned Prom King and Queen!
Dinner & beverages are included with every ticket, and we'll have fun raffle prizes benefitting the Whitney Labs' marine research, as well as fun exclusive Gilly-themed merch - You could even end up in our "Browning High" yearbook!Follow Gillfest on Instagram for updates!

About the Event

Gillfest is an event run by Monica "tikicreature" Lopez - The Gillman's #1 fan! It was created as a way for fellow "Finatics" to connect and celebrate our favorite Gillman as well as other classic Monsters. Past events include Gillfest 2023 and "Merry Creechmas" Gillfest 2024, hosted at Marina Munch in St. Augustine.Our theme this year is 1950's prom - All themed around a fictional "Browning High", named after the late Ricou Browning, who played the Creature in the original Creature from the Black Lagoon films.Gillfest 2025 will be hosted at The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience, a University of Florida facility doing very important work on marine biology research, education, and rehabilitation (they even have a sea turtle hospital!). The facility is located right across from the beach!Dinner & beverages are included with every ticket regardless of tier! You'll be able to enjoy games, photo ops, raffle prizes, delicious local cuisine and desserts, fun exclusive Gillfest merch, live music from The Kreepy Tikis and The Gekkos, and even a meet & greet with our very own Gillman. We'll have a ball!1950's retro-inspired vintage attire is strongly recommended! Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up?

Children 13 & up are allowed, but please keep in mind this is an event geared more towards adults.- Will there be alcohol served?

Parking is on-site, and free!- What if I lose my ticket or it gets lost in the mail?
You're going to need your physical ticket for entry! But if you lose it or don't receive it, don't worry, we'll get you sorted. Just shoot an email to [email protected].- What if I want to upgrade my ticket later?
We'll be happy to upgrade your ticket if there are still Valedictorian tickets left. Give us an email at [email protected] and we'll get you set.- I bought my ticket, but I can't make it to the event! What is your refund policy?

You will be mailed an actual physical ticket in the form of a special invitation - That's right, we're doing it oldschool!
